Big Sister

The big sis has been a busy gal.

We've been spending a lot of time outside because the weather has been so nice. Soon enough it will become too hot and sunny for my pale-faced children, so we're soaking up our vitamin D now.

Delaney is free to become whomever she want to become. However, I will be very, very happy if she chooses to be a softball girl.

The wind up...

...and the pitch is good!

The Big Sis has to be by her brother's side at all times.

While she's CONSTANTLY up in her brother's business, it's safe to say that she loves the little man.

So mom's taking pictures of baby brother in the wagon? Delaney has to get her picture taken as well. She mustn't be outdone!

She still loves playing in her kitchen and making a variety of appetizing dishes for Mom, Dad, Jude, and Brundibar, of course.

She also likes to claim that which is not hers. Case in point: mommy's gloves.

Delaney's back molars are almost all the way through, which has made her very emotional. She's so emo that we play Mineral for her at nap time to lull her to sleep. This is her shoe-gazing pose.

Delaney continues to be SUCH a people person and loves spending time with her friends. Today she started a folk-rock band with the Quesada kids (minus Emma, boo).

Eli is such a natural with the drumsticks!

Haven't you heard? Banjo/harmonica/drums/awesome Target microphone bands are all the rage these days!

4 Months

It's that time again...time to throw Jude in the wagon and snap some pictures. As of yesterday, we officially have a 4 month old under our roof.

Jude loves to squeal, gnaw on his hands, play with his feet, and reach for his toys. He rolls over both ways, but only when he wants to...he's not much for performing on command. He is sleeping in his own room now, and doing pretty well. Jude goes to bed around 8pm and usually wakes at 2am and 5am to nurse. Getting him back to sleep is a bit tricky, but that's Steve's department and he's always up for a good challenge. Jude is taking 3 naps, but he's still not really on a totally consistent routine. We really love Jude, and would do just about anything for this bald little guy.

4 month stats:

Weight: 13 lbs 14 0z--15th percentile
Height: 25 3/4 inches--85th percentile (say what?)
Classified as One Handsome Little Devil (ok, that's not really a medical term)
