The Last Hurrah

For the past 5 years, Steve and I have been proud Disneyland Annual Passholders. I pretty much believe that Disneyland is a magical place and that when I'm there, I have that same magic inside of me. Seriously, a Disney Cast Member once told me that I had a true Disney smile and that compliment sort of made my year. However, keeping in mind that our lives are about to change exceedingly, we decided to let our passes expire this year. Call it growing up, call it a new chapter in our lives, call it trying to embrace reality. So, we ventured out to the Happiest Place on Earth one last time last week or so. Apparently everyone else had the same idea, the park was super busy. So while we didn't get to go on any rides, we did get to people watch, admire the Christmas decorations one last time, and end our trip with a special yummy treat...that's why you go to Disneyland anyways, right?

I look like a gremlin! A hungry, pregnant gremlin, totally excited to eat me some ice cream!

We did the same thing! We went a couple more times while I was pregnant, then let our passes expire. Some day, when the kiddos are a little bigger, maybe we could be passes again and all go together. :)

This could be the saddest thing I have ever heard. I may have been the only Washington resident to be an Annual Passholder, and Sam's surprise birthday gift to be for this year was supposed to be a trip to Disneyland just the 2 of us. Apparently planning trips to Disneyland makes me pregnant. The last 3 trips I've been expecting, so no trip for my birthday (last month), but I hope your last hurrah was memorable. If you haven't read: Me, Myself and Bob by Phil Visher- you definitely should, he believes in the magic of Disneyland as well.
Miss you guys! Maybe our babies will share a birthday? We are getting close. This isn't a comment, its an email- sorry!

I too love Disneyland, and next to friends and family it is what I miss the most! I loved having our disney passes and went as much as possible when I knew they were expiring for one last time...
You will develop a whole new love for the magic when you bring your little one with you next time. It only gets better!!
